I am both pleasantly surprised and a bit disappointed that my blog post was used here. My point was a personal observation and it had and has nothing to do with faith or religion. If, for every post, I consider all aspects of my opinion, past and entire width of reality, BlogSpot would run out of room.
As a Baha’i myself I get your comment of "We are well-wishers of humanity, not nay-sayers". As a human being, however, I struggle day and night in today's society I tend to feel and breathe this life and some days it is hard to be a well wisher when I see us regress rather than move forward. The moon and milk spillers will not be further discussed here by me but as far as the Nobel Peace Prize I would, along with other Baha’i' followers actions rather than idle talk, have liked to see it go to someone like Greg Mortenson (Three Cups of Tea) or hundreds of others who give their absolute all. Then again, if the decision to choose Obama thought to inspire a bigger crowd and put persuade on him I certainly wish him and all of humanity well.

OK - and Seal's 'Crazy' - that works, too. It kinda depends on how deep we want to get into the ethos, and how much 'bandwidth' we wanna give it ... Send me an email, we'll talk! MRF

A couple for ya - 'A Call To Arms - Mike & The Mechanics - 'What About Me?' - Quicksilver Messenger Service [circa 1970. This one mentions marijuana, so - eh? But the last verse is a real kicker!] 'Spiritual Fantasy' by Steppenwolf - album is 'The Second', same general era - really great song about oneness! - the hardy perennial, 'Ebony & Ivory by Paul McCartney w/Stevie Wonder 'Lost in a Lost World' by the Moody Blues, "Buddha" by Cat Stevens, 'Question' by the Moody Blues - actually, just dig through their whole collection - from what I've seen, their producer, Tony Clarke, was [or is] a Baha'i, and several of their songs are about unity ...

All any Baha'i has to do is to go to the Writings, and if there is any question about them, go to the institutions for guidance.

"My undivided attention goes to Baha’i Views these days, given the glorious expansion of the Faith, so evident in the multitude of Internet postings that appear each day."

Good.

I also think it was a very good idea to separate this from Baha'i Views.

Actually, what I meant was that it has a lot of what I would like people to know before they try to respond to attacks on the Faith on the Internet. The fact that you are promoting, and more importantly, practicing this wisdom gives me hope that others will follow.
